Support a father's right to have 50/50

Government has to initiate legislation to force family courts to recognize a 50/50 access in all standard separation cases and also recognize BOTH parents responsibility to provide a stable living environment and financial support frim both parents. Anything less provides a weapon that can be used against the parent with less access and creates unhealthy conflict in the minds of the children affected. There is too much ambiguity at the court level and no consistency in rulings...a standard must be created and set in law...otherwise, decisions are made based on the courts and any biases they are prone to have...nothing about it is fair or just! The cases vary consistently...and lawyers exploit it to encourage conflict to maintain case revenue. Hopefully, someday we will see fairness and less conflict...if both parents can provide a healthy living environment then both should have equal time and share in financial responsibilities equally!

I have been fighting for this now for two years, been to court, judge didn't want to try my case because I had too much evidence against my ex wife, all I want is 50/50 for my children,

Children need both their parents. The courts need to recognize this, and accommodate according to individual situations opposed to the status quo. I for one (and as mother) will do anything to ensure that my son had the opportunity to build a relationship with his father. Regardless of whether or not I need to take a "maintenance cut." I cannot fathom the idea of my child whom I love dearly missing half of who he is due to my own stubborn pride. I chose to go against the court order to ensure that this relationship could flourish and I've had zero regrets. The court system, and the maintenance enforcement system are established from and in an Era that no longer exists where it was one mother, one father and x number of children. In many situations people have children from other relationships. It is uncanny that the court will enforce starvation and isolation of a group of children in order to ensure that one child has the ability to have extra privilege. The entire system needs an over haul, and all the affected children need to be considered as the primary concern. Not one child due to their parentage. Not one parent due to their location. And sure as the grass is green, not because money is more important than the quality of life improvements a child will have because they've had the ability to develop a relationship with all their parents. It's not about money. It's about our children having healthy relationships, and having the necessities of life.
