Dear Peabody Resident,

Friends of Peabody Dog Park is a citizen group dedicated to working with city officials to build an off-leash dog park in Peabody. More than 3,000 dogs are registered in the City of Peabody, yet we do not have a designated area where residents can bring their dogs to safely exercise and socialize with other dogs. We are targeting a section of Emerson Park (behind the skate park) for this purpose.

So far we have raised more than $3,000 to fund the design and construction of a dog park, but we need to increase our visibility within the community and secure the support of as many residents as possible, especially those who live near Emerson Park. We already have nearly 500 likes on our Facebook page, but given that not every Peabody resident is on Facebook, we are hoping this petition will more accurately reflect the will of the people.
