If we actually follow the science the science tells us that this virus barely affects the youth. But the negative effects of canceling schools and sports or other activities is literally killing our youth and will have much longer lasting detriments than getting sick

These fear and speculation based decisions regarding in person schooling and high school athletics need to stop!!! Look at the facts related to other districts and their in person and allowed athletics. They are NOT experiencing wide spread outbreaks! Athletes should not have to wear masks!

Our kids need sports and activities in their lives especially right now. Let them be kids and enjoy something wonderful during this whole crisis. They are not kids forever.

The District needs to allow sports. I would add they need to also allow re-opening.

Kids need activities for their mental health. They need to socialize and be with their friends. I think virtual school is a disaster.

LET THEM PLAY! Mental Health for these kids is being forgotten!!!! If people can pack in shoulder to shoulder on airplanes & airlines can continue to operate, these kids should be able to play if they choose!!! If someone doesn’t feel safe, they DO NOT have to participate! Let them Play!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ability for individuals to exercise their talents in sports during an unprecedented time is essential for their wellbeing. For youth, competitive sports is important for their physical, mental, and spiritual health. This should not be sidelined due to current health concerns. There are steps that can be taken to create a safe environment for student athletes and all other participants. There are understandable risks, but there have always been health risks in sports. These risks are assumed as soon as the student steps on the court, on a field, or wherever the sport may be. Let students who want to play, play.

If you believe in the science then you must allow the students to play, sing, play instruments etc. Stop politicizing this very unfatal virus.
