It seems to me that the UWi should encourae and assist this enterprise which is a practical method of encouraging the appreciation of Caribbean Culture, this time a branch of Caribbean cusine.

The UWI Mona campus in my view has always needed more variety in terms of places to eat. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the Jamaican food and other offerings. However, after a while one just yearns for something different. Super's Spicy Doubles (SSD) offers variety and great-tasting food. I appreciate this entity even more so, as I am a Trinbago national and makes me feel at home. UWI Mona campus is the best place for SSD in a quest to have true Caribbean representation, especially given the fact that Jamaica is a CARICOM member. Furthermore, in order to maintain reasonable prices in this economic climate particularly as a student, we need this food outlet right here on the campus. Continue to allow for UWI Mona to grow and display pride and quality, eventually allowing the campus to reign supreme over all other campuses. SSD can aid in attaining this reputation. Please don’t run them!!!
