Continuous education to students & the public to build awareness to differences & to eliminate bullying are a must & already in place. Our educators must educate, not influence.

As a retired Special Education teacher, I am wel aware of the need to protect the safety, mental health, and civil rights of each student. The current DEI policies do not achieve any of these goals. It is time to move in a new direction that encourages and educates every child by focusing on academic achievement.

The new Strategic Plan represents a well-developed, comprehensive approach, in sharp contrast to the vague and politically loaded language of Policy 100. This shift exemplifies the mandate voters delivered to this board.

Please sunset Policy 100. The extra burdens are not clear, and distract from the main purpose of education.

Please remove this DEI policy for the benefit of our children.

This is aspirational statement at best, not a policy. Policy should be clear and easy to enforce / understand. Policy 100 uses highly subjective wording. Moreover, we should strive to enable each student to the best of their ability, not to make them equal.

Yes, I do whole heartedly agree with striking this policy. The District is on the right track in its collective discernment to abolish agenda based political rhetoric and focus instead on accidemic achievements.

Please get rid of this policy. We need to get back to the basics so our children can learn.

Get rid of all this nonsense!!! It has done more harm than good to our students and actually furthers the divide on race instead of lessening it.
