A business has been in place there sine u was a child and now I take my children there, it is invaluable to the community and holiday makers. Place would be a lot worse off without it

Please don't reject the retrospective planning appeal for Sunset Surf. whatever the reason it, surely it can be resolved without jeopardising the future of this much valued member of the Towans community which is both self-sustaining as a business and revenue generating for the local economy as a tourist attraction alongside the beach. Please please please show some leniency and use some common sense. This establishment is providing a service and helping to support the local community and has done for many many years.

Please do all that you can to favour the application by Sunset Surf and take into consideration the position that they were in after the storm damage. They provide a great service to the area and south west tourism on a whole and the building does in no way detract from the local area. Thank you

This is our favourite beach cafe, always our first stop when we get to Cornwall. We have been clients of this fantastic establishment for nearly 20 years and have been very impressed with the renovations carried out over the years.

delete Current enjoy the view of Gwithian, Hayle and St Ives from the Web Cam and am looking forward to spending some time at this cafe. It would be a travesty should a business that provides work for the local community and destination for tourists to spend much needed money in the area.

As visitor to Gwithian this is an excellent facility I look at the webcam regularly from Yorkshire and wish I was in Gwithian Would be sad if the sunset was not there on our next visit

My family and I have been holidaying in the Gwithian/Godrevey area for so many years I now loose count, so much so that now we bring our next generation.
We have used Sunset Surf from the very first year it opened and continue to frequent it as often as we can during our times there.
It has always provided us a place to rest up after the beach or a long walk along your stunning shore line, it’s a place, if not there, we would miss immensely so much so that holidays would not be the same so from a personal point of view I urge you to grant the permission and let a well-used, well loved, quality local employer remain open for business.

We come to cornwall every year and love this place as a surfer its a fantastic place and so are the people that work there they are very helpful and it would be a shame to loose it and the loss of jobs and revenue to the local economy

The buildings appearance is not detrimental to its immediate environment. And in time the wood will weather down.

We have been customers of Sunset Surf Cafe for years going back to when it was little more than a shack. We think planning permission should be granted to ensure that this lovely cafe continues to serve the tourists and locals, Otherwise Gwithian beach and dunes will lose a valuable asset.
