There are other places for more shade. Save this space for courts!

We need more play area. Often times we arrive and every court is being used with a few teams waiting. We even get rude people who use the courts for working out (please put up signs indicating VB players have priority). We DON'T need more spectating area. Every person can bring their own shade/chair (canopy, umbrella, portable chairs with attached umbrellas, etc...) ....no one can bring their own sand volleyball court.

I really enjoy playing at these courts but there’s times when we have to wait for awhile to be able to get on a court. With additional volleyball courts there’d be the opportunity for more inclusion. In other words, those who may feel left out now because the courts are full will have a chance to play as well. Volleyball promotes exercise and builds lifetime friendships. Why not allow more people to be able to experience that?

Outdoor volleyball is such a growing sport especially in Vegas... would be a shame not to support the volleyball community that is constantly supporting other communities and Las Vegas as a whole.

Closing down the volleyball court for this summer will devastating to the volleyball community. We're coming back from almost a full year of lockdown and quarantine to just have our park stripped from us for the summer. Not only that but we're more in need of extra courts rather than anything else. Extra courts are not only beneficial for the volleyball community but the city as well, driving to the income by rentals, league, and tournaments. The community has grown so much since this plans to build shade around we're made, since then the need for extra courts have outweigh the need for any shaded areas. Really hope you will consider the needs of the community.

Please keep Sunset park as the central place for volleyball in Nevada
