Sunnywood Lane Rezoning Opposition
We, the undersigned surrounding neighbors, are in OPPOSITION to Rezoning Petition 2020-066 for the 3.62 acres located along the north side of Sardis Road North, east of Sunnywood Lane, and south of Watergate Road. This rezoning application requests changing current R-3 (R-3 = Single family—3.0 units per acre) to to UR-1 (CD) (UR-1(CD) = Urban residential—max. floor area ratio 0.25 (conditional zoning).
The plan is inconsistent with South District Plan for long-range planning, which recommends single family residential land use, at a density of three units per acre. The plan is also inconsistent with surrounding neighborhoods.
