Sunday mornings are a time for recuperation, renewal and rejuvenation. Sunday morning sleep is probably the most important activity (ok... non-activity) of the entire week. It is the key to the previous week's closure and making of coming week's clean canvas. We finish the work week on Friday, party like crazy in the night, wake up groggy and tired on Saturday morning, wind up the entire week's pending tasks and then sleep in the night. Waking up late on Sunday morning is essential for starting your preparation for the whole coming week. So you are asking what's the problem?

Sunday morning visitors! In India we are troubled by the Janitor!! We call them maids. She (no gender bias here... it's a monopoly) rings the bell as early as she can on Sunday. You might struggle to negotiate for an early morning (6 am) entry on a week day. But Sunday has to be the day when she rings the bell at 5:30 am. Sometimes I feel this is a deliberate attempt of all Janitors, may be a resolution passed in the Janitor Union Conclave to disturb their customers on Sunday morning. A practice fueled by secret satanic groups or international terrorist organizations to disturb World Peace.

All those who know the pain that this practice creates and those who are far-sighted enough to see the connection to the eventual disruption to World Peace, may please sign this petition.

Note: This is not just an India-specific issue. I am sure this is happening (or being deliberately and methodically executed) across South Asia. And there is a high possibility that this is just one kind of instrument trying to deny people of the necessary (and pleasurable) Sunday Morning Sleep. In other countries, with different social structures, there are other instruments being used. We need to identify all of them and root them out.
