I really thought this would just be a small note to myself and now it has turned into something much larger than I ever imagined. Seeing so many people agree that running in the heat is a terrible idea leaves me completely speechless. This is entirely because of your own frustrations with the event and I am just glad to play a tiny part in organizing our shared exhaustion.

just get rid of it already.
its way too hot to be running around the city. close the roads and deal with the traffic for what?? nobody wants this

FINALLY. the traffic is an absolute nightmare every single year and nobody can get to work on time.
