Opposition to the proposed Summerfield 6th grade move to the high school

I have family that live in Petersburg. My mom graduated from there. Why send the 6th graders to the High School with the much older kids. Makes no sense at all.

I do not think the 6th graders belong in the highschool, let alone the 7th and 8th graders.

I would prefer they don't move the younger kids to the high school, They are too young to be around high schoolers, let them be kids. I have grandchildren that go there, I had 5 kids go there, if it works don't fix it

The children's safety is very important and there well being

If you're going to move 6th grade there just move the whole school there. This is insane someone needs to put their foot down.

This proposal is not in the best interests of our children or community.

Any data that I have found on this subject points to negative academic performance when young kids move into a more mature setting.

We need clarification of answers being asked. Work as a team and we can always have a great school to send our kiddos to!
