This petition is in regards to being advised that western Sydney campus/ Federation university would have summer school, to ease the work load. Now on enrolment day no summer school. Ballarat and other fed uni campuses have access to summer school. We have had issues all semester no classrooms, student centre, couldn't access library resources or have the same as other fed uni campuses. Marking being 2-5 weeks overdue. Teaching time cut and was told closed book exams wouldn't happen that they were all open book. We the students have had enough of the lies and betrayal by those who are suppose to be teaching us. Please sign our petition enough is enough!

Upon enrolment in the bachelor degree we have been told that we would have summer school available to us, to assist us in completing the course earlier. Some students planned their subjests this semester around summer school being available. Why was summer school spoken about if it wasn't possible or guaranteed to go ahead. How is it not viable when there are many students wanting and willing to participate in the courses offered? We have all been patient through the many teething processes of this course, the least you can do is provide us with an equal opportunity to complete the degree at the same time as those in Ballarat.

It's s bit of a double standard, especially when we had to do closed book exams to (please/be fair) to the Victorian students after being promised open book exams. Victorian students are offered summer school and we are not. hmmmm how long is it going to take to do this degree again? looks like if your Victorian, you can complete it earlier! I think it's fair if the Victorian students are told they have no summer school to keep in line with Sydney just like the exam. Alternativly you could offer Sydney students summer school to Balance the books.

This is beyond ridiculous! we have the same right as any another undergraduate university student to be offered summer school. I was looking forward to ticking at least one unit off during the summer break.

My concern is for the students who were not allowed to enrol last symester, due to administrative blunders? I myself was only able to enrol, due to a typo error on my offer letter, which stopped me from being able to finalise my enrolment. Other students were assured that they could complete summer school, in order to catch up to the rest of the class. What happens to them now????

Hehehe :-) Australian Constitution - Section 117 - Rights of residents in States: A subject of the Queen, resident in any State, shall not be subject in any other State to any disability or discrimination which would not be equally applicable to him if he were a subject of the Queen resident in such other State.
