Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for teenagers. Lack of education & awareness of the warning signs play an major part in this. Legislation should be passed in all states that mandates training & education, as well as depression screenings & life skills training be provided in all school systems, using the current State funded mental health agencies in the area, to provide the schools a program for free. Sessions should also be made available for parents, grandparents & guardians of children through the schools & health systems.
