The nomination is off the table. We stopped this appointment through direct pressure and relentless public scrutiny. Keep watch on the next session to ensure this standard remains.
TELL SENATOR SCHUMER: SCUTTLE SUDDABY!
To Senator Charles Schumer, member of the Senate Judiciary Committee:
We oppose the nomination of Glenn Suddaby, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York, for federal judge, based on three high-profile cases prosecuted by him:
- Imam Yassin Aref and Mohammed Hossain in Albany in 2004, two Muslims convicted in a wholly fictitious terrorist sting operation based around still-secret NSA wiretaps ( http://www.nepajac.org/Aref&Hossain.htm )
- Dr. Rafil Dhafir in Syracuse in 2003, an oncologist and a Muslim who is the only individual in America convicted of breaking the economic sanctions against Iraq in the 1990s via a charity

The Aref case was a complete joke. He shouldnt be rewarded with a lifetime appointment for framing people. NO WAY.

Dr. Dhafir was just trying to help sick people. This nomination is a total disgrace to the legal system.

This guy is bad news for the bench. Keep him as far away from a gavel as possible.

We need judges who uphold justice not people who run political witch hunts. Schumer needs to block this.
