On January 1st, 2013, Subway introduced a new way to devour their assorted meats, cheeses, and vegetables pressed together into a sandwich - the jalapeño cheddar bread bun. Now, I thoroughly enjoy all the different combinations that subway offers, but the one thing that kept me going back to subway was the cheese covered, pepper infused deliciousness that was this specific bun. It worked well with everything. You wanted the Chicken Bacon Ranch? Throw it on a cheddar bun. Want some Steak and Cheese? Add some of that jalapeño bread. It was an endless opportunity that delighted my taste buds each and every time I made a stop at my local Subway. I was in bread heaven.
I first noticed the issue at a small subway in a small town north of my city. I went up to the counter, didn't even check the bread sticker on the glass, looked the sandwich artist right in the eyes and said, "Let me get a footlong jalapeño bread, sweetheart." She shot me a terrified look, like she had saw a ghost - "I'm sorry sir, but that bread has been discontinued at this location."
After a few minutes of drying my eyes and trying to decide between the lower-tiered buns at this specific shop, I told the women I was terribly sorry, but I just couldn't do it. I couldn't live without my jalapeño cheddar bread. I went a different direction with lunch that day, and I figured that this was just a small-town issue, and that back in my hometown everything would be back to normal. Boy, how wrong was I.
The last time I had jalapeño cheddar bread at subway was on July 16th, 2015. I got a steak and cheese hoagie with banana peppers, sweet peppers, and jalapeños. The doubling of the jalapeños in the bread and the sandwich was one of the most delicious combinations to ever exist. If I knew that that was the last time I would be enjoying this specific combination, I would have savored that meal, so... so much more. There is not many things I regret in my life. Not savoring that meal is definitely one of them.
According to the official subway website: http://www.subway.com/en-us/menunutrition/menu/bre... it states that jalapeño cheese is a possible choice at any location. Please, I'm begging subway to add that into the top section, breads that are available everywhere. Please, sign this if you agree with this petition and miss jalapeño cheddar bread as much as I do. Thank you so much for your time.

Bring back the Jalapeno & cheddar bread..!!! I live in Schenectady, NY there are 2 in the city, and 3 or 4 out of the city (5 - 6 in total). Every location has it posted on their menus "jalapeno and cheddar bread, at participating locations" and not a single place seems to make this bread... I love this bread so much I have been willing to travel to find it (which I shouldn't have too) and yet it's seem like I can't find it..
I love subway, but until u do bring back jalapeno cheddar bread I will never go back, you are missing out on 1 to 2 visits a week, plus my publicity
I just moved from California to Peoria, Illinois. Back home we still had the jalapeño cheddar bread, and it is the only bread I will use at subway. I've gone to all of the locations that I know of in this area and NONE of them have the jalapeño cheddar bread, most didn't know that subway even offered it anywhere ever. They don't even offer soups at most of these locations. Sad to say I had to leave empty handed every time. Please bring this bread (along with the soups) to Peoria Illinois, i guarantee the chain would make a profit off of it. I, at least, would gladly spend all of my food money getting subway for every meal. Please take this into consideration, thank you for your time.
I went to subway asking for the bread. She told me the news and i told her that the bread is one of the popular ones ever, so why remove it? I dont understand! You remove something that popular! I told her, someone should open a Petition and she laughed and said, right? She told me that customers has already asked for the bread and they had to hear the bad news that their bread is no longer. BRING IT BACK!! WTF~!!LOL.I am eating Subway RIGHT NOW! and i dont have my JALAPENO CHEESE BREAD!! Not COOL. If there is a big enough deal for this bread, then you know its popular. Its like McDonalds and the Hot Mustard. Bring it back please!
My turkey sandwich is not complete without jalapeno cheese bread, no matter how many jalapeños are inside...

Please don't bring this bread back. The lines were out the door. Too sophisticated for your model anyway. I like no lines and no waiting.
