I support my teachers in standing up for fair pay and insurance. My mother is a single parent supporting a high school student and a college student through activities and student loans while teaching and it is unbelievable how little teachers get for how much work and support they put into the future of our world.

My mom is a teacher and a well respected one at that the teachers of West Virginia are hands-down the best teachers in this country very well they’re very well respected they help us understand what we don’t understand and just able to just be there when we need someone

Teachers, as well as all other public workers, deserve better than what they have. Such an essential part of society needs actual health insurance and better payment. The State government owes it to them, as well as the rest of the public

Teachers should get paid a little more than that do. Think about financial situation, or medical bills cuz they have a child of medical needs. That's just me tho.

During my sophomore year in high school I had a math teacher who I loved, easily one of the best teachers I have ever had. She said to our class after speaking with a student about teaching that if you work as a teacher in WV you have to love your job because they pay isn't the best. You have to enjoy waking up everyday and teaching the future generations. The students may not like the course, but you have to learn to love them. The teachers I have had across my life so far have a huge impact on me that will never fade. They deserve better pay, even if it is only a small percentage raise.
