Another fatal and devastating school shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. This tragedy adds to a year where deaths have occurred at a Las Vegas concert, a Texas church, and a Kentucky school and have all been caused by unstable people with powerful weapons. Students feel nervous to be in what should be the safe space of school. As a group of fearful Americans we want change to federal gun laws that allow individuals with an unstable mental condition to acquire military grade firearms.
Contact everyone you can and spread this movement. We need to put pressure on our legislators to do what the people want and need. This isn't about Republican or Democratic, Left or Right, Conservative or Progressive. This is about keeping our students and everyone in our country safe.

Enough is enough. How many more innocent CHILDREN have to die before things start to change? Schools, the movies, the mall and so many other places where guns have killed, are supposed to be fun and safe. Let's make our people feel safe.
I don't want ANYONE to be able to obtain military grade firearms unless they are in the military, or are employed in a profession where this capability is required. Every firearm owner should be required to have liability insurance commensurate with the danger posed by the firearm.
Our government must take action! The "right to keep and bear arms" was never intended to apply to assault weapons. Not only do controls need to be placed on who has access to weapons but also on what weapons are available to those not protecting our country. Please ban assault weapons!!
I lost 6 friends and acquaintances in the Stoneman shooting, including coach Aaron Feis and the government's lack of action in its wake is sickening and shameful
I’ve a family that live close to Florida and im afraid if someone else gets their hands on a gun a threatened to shoot them I could not cope with the pain people People under the age of 21 should not own a gun. I’m from Ireland and I’m not sure what the rules are In Florida but guns should always be kept off the streets
And it happened again, yesterday!
I'm proud of my friend Matthew Sorak for standing up and being counted. I am saddened that it took a young person to do what adults should have been doing all along.

As parents how can our hearts not go out to all the victims and inspire us to act finally. Let's keep it up after the news coverage has faded and stand together until we see real change.
