Even though she may say bad things about us sometimes. I believe T&T has very few role models. She is one of them.We see boys walking down the road with these things they call 'man buns' and vaping at the side of the road.If she were to pass, she would give that boy an undercut and teach about 'popcorn lungs'.

Even though she's stricter than my mom, I think she would make a better role model than my own mom.

She is the reason that Naparima College is better than other schools like Asja Boys Sando. #supportfrompointfortin

How many teachers take time to communicate with their students like Miss Nandlal, very passionate about her job if we had more like her in our Education system we will not have to deal with the high level of delinquent ,indiscipline and Ungodly children.

Ms Nandlal is a fantastic teacher who genuinely cares for the young men at Naparima College. She gives of her time after work hours freely so they can excel. My disappointment is in the Presbyterian Synod who have yet to state their position on their teaching on homosexuality and if I suspect right, they will skirt around the issue (love one another etc) without taking a clear and decisive position. Ms Nandlal has integrity. She does not deserve the treatment she is receiving.

Save Miss N. She is one of the few teachers who genuinely cares about her students and their understanding of physics

I want to be sure. Threatening to kill people, insisting that not sharing one's religious identity is grounds for cruel and unfair judgment, disparaging young LGBT students, stereotyping an entire class of students as criminals... I do not see these as particularly 'outstanding' behaviours befitting of an adult with several young men in her care. And considering that this petition doesn't at all challenge the validity of the recording, one can only presume that the content therein is legitimately Ms. Nandlal's, or at the very least that the creator(s) of this petition agree to its validity. Which means what they think is 'outstanding' public-facing conversation from a teacher to students includes calling students drug dealers and saying you'd kill a child because their parents do not believe in God. I am not here to say whether said creator(s), or Nandlal, are undeserving of compassion or adoration for their caring or responsibility. But such positivity does not render someone above reproach, and the claims made in that recording are definitely worth critique. An adult with several young men in her care spoke flippantly and without integrity on several matters which directly impact the experiences of her students in one way or another. An LGBT student, or atheist student, in that space left knowing that someone who they otherwise trusted and admired thinks absolutely lowly of them. And you consider this 'outstanding'. This hurts me deeply, especially if this petition was constructed by students themselves.
