Nothing says academic freedom quite like mandatory ideological purity tests sponsored by the College of Meaningless Buzzwords.

This seems silly. Why are you demanding that someone else create a college for you? You're trying to co-opt another organization's time, money, land, buildings, staff and other resources in order to further your own personal goals - goals that may have little overlap with WWU's goals. You students made the choice to attend WWU. No one forced you to do that. If you don't like them, then it is your choice to leave. One day you must learn that nobody has to listen to you, no matter how loudly or long that you yell for. Neither WWU nor anyone else owes you anything. Though you try to make yourselves appear strong and confident, your demands belie an insecurity and immaturity. If you really believed in your goals, then why don't you create your own college? Then you can shape the faculty, coursework and curriculum anyway you choose. Perhaps you don't believe in your cause enough to do so. Or perhaps you would rather hide behind the relative safety and expertise of the WWU administration. In either case, the demands sound more like they are coming from petulant children than enlightened students.

I am supportive of your efforts however I question some of the demands and word choices? I'm not sure but it seems a showy hand and if so (to move the crowd) then yes, a victory but maybe don't expect the prezi to comply. If anything we all will be seeing an email from him full of Things and free floating anxieties to be consumed and digested quickly pinging through the aether. Or maybe none at all. Anyway, that was my poetical moment. Good job. My hats off to you :)

This wouldn't be funny to you if you had to go thru what we go thru. I know it's fun to joke sometimes but as you can see these demands are very serious and if your going to poke fun you need to sit down and stfu. See now I'm getting mad but seriously not trying to disrespect but what makes you think this is ok?

That sounds a little over the top. I'm sorry you had to go thru that

This is important and at least these industrious students are taking a stand. I applaud your verve and dedication. You other students who seem to be taking it lightly or poking fun should take a good long look at yourselves. Our silence means compliance.
