Literally one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Congrats on wasting your time making outrageous demands instead of studying. I'm sure you will all do great in life.

This fatphobic bullcrap needs to go. Is there a more marginalized group than fat women? we are openly mocked and disparaged, our beetus snacks are hidden, we are murdered for our fatness, our fatheletes are not allowed to compete in the Olympic games, doctors take our legs under the guise of diabetes. It is time to put down your gender and normative political demands and start making this about true victims.

Yet an endorsement of such demands as students deciding firing and other disciplinary decisions is worse than doing nothing. Its advocating replacing one type of oppression with another.

Your petition is the most idiotic thing I have read in a long time, and that is saying something given our current state of (un)civil discourse. Grow up you ridiculous children. No one is interested in your demands. If you don't like this college go somewhere else.

Might I suggest a list of books to be "removed from consideration" and those to be included? First, remove all books that suggest even a hint of "same-ness." The other is to be instated as the true mark of a soul. Second, consider The Decline of the West as a replacement. Spengler is well-suited to those who bemoan the loss of freedom. Third, consider a course in irony to be the first in a series of courses necessary to reacquaint people with the necessities of a diverse culture. Include in it writings by Orwell, Swift, and others less blighted by their whiteness. Fourth, convene a lottery system of checks-and-balances, meant to function as a check on the creators. No one remains untainted by their joy so long as age creeps into the picture. The film Logan's Run provides a template. Finally, work to make sure that this remains double-plus-good. Be mindful of people who display empathy, agape, or sympathy for those not in accord with the goals. While not all of these suggestions comport with the initial suggestion, they do hold to the overall note of support: you must use your skills to deflect discrimination and work towards a complete erasure of difference. The end goal is fairly simple: one people, one group, one leader. History suggests that such a goal is attainable, with the proper effort.

Even though these kids have misguided language and intentions- should we poke fun that much? Really? How about kindness? My son attends this school and I would not want to think of this kind of harassment on him if he had a "bright" idea.

Obviously your education is being wasted on you. You can't even spell-check your own document—and I'm not referring to your PC spelling aberrations, but to your gross errors in simple spelling and punctuation throughout this so-called petition. Are you mad? I am a university student in Canada and cannot believe that any students would be so "politically correct". One of the worst examples of wrong thinking - the genius who started this up needs some rest off campus.
