An excellent proposition that would turn WWU into a 21st Century institution. A Social Justice campus presence is desperately needed, and the employment requests in line with a new building.

I attended WWSC 1967-1968. I don't recall evening seeing any black students, though there may have been some. It was a teacher's college then. What struggle of WWSC blacks in 1968 are they talking about. I remember, Barry Goldwater and Rod McKuen had come on campus. That was pretty much the only big political event. Anyways, I like this new organization and hope to join asap. I really would enjoy having a mentor on-campus. The new student retreat is fantabulous! I like to be with my "homies" and listen to music and have a good time. What else is there? Let's get this done!

I just listened to your ridiculous interview with Dave Ross on KIRO. You could not even answer his most basic questions. My favorite one was Q-How do you measure success? A- Kind of like being aware. What????? So I am successful because I am aware that you are idiots! I have a list of demands too, it is a very short list, here it is, SHUT UP!

"This committee will be formed by student representatives from the Associated Students Offices (AS) and from colleges and departments on campus. Students will be nominated by fellow students and faculty from each office, college, or department." Then why are the College of Business/Economics and the College of Science/Tech excluded from the committee? Your committee for diversity is built to exclude a diversity of opinion. Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy?

Given how much I love to suck on huge c--o--c--k, I find this petition so stimulating. These whiny losers have huge c--o--c--k--s rammed so far up their back sides they cant see how stupid they all look. The world is laughing at you, you are ruining left wing politics. You will fail, and rightfully so.

Thankfully I do not have a career in academics, so maybe I don't understand the issues here, but I do recall twenty years ago going to a couple of meetings of Queer Nation, a group that started with some excellent ideas and fell aoart over just the kind of left factionalism and division we see here. My own take on it, from an "oppressive" mental health point of view, is that a handful of people with personality disorders took over the QN agenda, given that it was "consensus based," and made rigid and impossible demands on the rest if the group, to the point of driving away allies and causing the group's collapse. Sad. It's the dark opposite of actual political work. Instead of organizing, it disorganizes. Even in my more activist arrogant student days, I would have been turned off by these people. And if you turn off people who are more "left"'than 95% of your audience, you have lost the battle.

Who wrote this nonsense? Are they even associated with WWU? If they were serious they would not post anonymously.

The good news is my kids wont have to compete with the people that support this but the bad news is these very same people are too lazy and too entitled to work for my kids.

This is a great way to get people like me (the Father of a HS senior) to eliminate this campus for consideration so thanks for that! Unless I see the school quickly denounce and fully respond to this madness I will consider the matter closed.
