I got suspended because I was going to the bathroom and on my way back a security searched me and found my dab pen. Yes, I should’nt have that in school, but there was no reason to search me. I was simply using the stall. And when they told me how they “caught me” they said they heard a button on my pen. The only button I touched was the volume button on my phone. I know my rights and I CANNOT he searched without probable cause. And this happened because I had to go downstairs because the bathrooms were locked.

The bathroom policy makes no sense because if kids can’t vape in the bathroom they’re just going to do it somewhere else like the stairwells our just in class.

If you really want to stop vaping, monitor the parking lot. Making me leave class for 10 minutes so I can walk all the way down to the first floor to go to the bathroom isn’t doing anything.

i don’t believe all students should have a generalized punishment based off of the select amount of students who fail to abide by the school rules. the rule that the school is trying to enforce upon us is absurd and once has proven to complicate matters rather than fix them, thereby supporting my reasoning in signing this petition
