The student body at Asheboro High School needs your help. Our petition "Students Against Sexual Assault", has been formed in wake of recent events, to bring light to situations involving sexual violence. Students should never have to worry about wether or not they are truly protected when walking into a school in which they are promised safety. Sexual violence in schools is way more common than the public thinks, and not only in high-schools. Incidents involving these acts occur across all grade levels, and justice is hardly ever seen by victims. Wether you are a student, a concerned parent, or general public, we can all agree, our safety is important. By signing this petition, you are helping our student body, and so many more, bring justice into our classrooms. Our goal is to show our school that we are so much more powerful when we work together, ensure students (and staff) are held accountable when they do wrong, and we end violence, no matter the kind, we can truly be the student body we strive for, and we cannot do that withour your help.
