A petition for University of Reading students against the PAS cuts.
Hundreds of staff members at the University of Reading are facing redundancy due to PAS cuts that are being put forward despite immense opposition from staff and students. These cuts must be stopped, or we will see the collapse of personal relationships between department staff and students; relationships which are crucial to student satisfaction and fostering a helpful and friendly atmosphere at the university.

The pas review is a rediculos idea. To think you can basically abolish the administrative system in order to cut wage bills for the university is extremely hypocritical given the plans for a £40 million renovation of the library
I cannot believe the manner in which this system will be implemented, what is worse is that those at the top won't listen to us students at all. I would never have gone to the University of Reading if this was the case. I signed up to a four year degree here,thinking that I would be looked after and my 9,000 would be well spent, clearly this is not the case.
There are ao many things wrong with PAS. No student consultation, millions wasted, no transparency for staff or students even now, it is all so rushed and will bring limitless chaos. Stop PAS Profit Above Students
DON'T TAKE AWAY THE CHEMISTRY TEACHING OFFICE!!! They know us all individually and can give better advice and suggestions! Their door is always open for students and the department would be way worse without them!
A new science park and an entire campus in Malaysia, yet you're cutting our vital staff? Those initiating PAS clearly do not work with the student body in mind (who they claim to represent)
