This is ridiculous. Believe it or not, many of us work, and can't do this. Also, the shorter class times are useless. Teachers just Rush through the material.

In addition to being a CSUSM student, I am also a mom, I maintain a job to help support my family while in school, and I commute 45min-1hr (each way) to get to school. The schedule change at CSUSM would put both unnecessary financial and time constraints on our already tight situation. Clearly this decision is not in the interest of the students!

I work full time and commute to school. Making me come to school an extra day means one more day that I can't work, and another day I have to pay for more gas. If you wanna start paying for my gas go right ahead and make class MWF!

This change would be very negative for those of us who work, live, and commute outside of San Marcos. Many of us work jobs without flexible schedules and to make this change would be inconsiderate to those students who depend on that money earned to survive as well as give CSUSM our money.

This is so unfair. If this 3-day schedule passes, many students will struggle with high tuition rates and their job schedules as well. This change will bring nothing but negative outcomes. Thank you.

I am attending twice a week and not taking online classes nor planning to because it does not work for me. I learn by being in a classroom setting. Unfortunately if I have to go five days a week it might take me twice as long to graduate because I do not have a set schedule at work and some days I work in the morning or afternoon and that would mean that I would have to take only the classes that fit my work schedule because I need the income to pay for my tuition.

I have an hour and a half commute to school! It's tiring enough to go twice a week if I manage to get all my classes with in two days.

I am graduating so this will not affect me but I do not think this would be good for future students. The majority of the university commutes and works so forcing students to be there every day could give some students no choice but to drop out.

It is already nearly impossible to attend classes while working full time. Each day I attend a lecture it adds two hours of commuting time. Please offer more evening class and online classes for the working professionals that attend.
