I personally dont need the Atrium open longer but i know many others do, i am lucky that i can work from home but some people simply cannot and are therefore at a dis-advantage

How about opening the studios during the summer as well? £29,000 fo 3 years and the studios are unavailable for 12 months of that time!!! Whenever I looked last summer they were empty...

Students must now work more hours at irregular times to afford the increased cost of university. It is important the facilities we pay for are open when we need them. Students should be able to access their work at weekends and evenings especially if it is unportable such as the TV and Film Set Design student models in Atlantic House.

Some courses require the use of equipment on software some people don't have access to anywhere else, why should their education be affected because of something that is already a given in most universities

I don't feel affected personally, but i feel it's a big buzz kill to those who need it, especially if the University has specific resources others can't acquire otherwise for whatever specific reasons.

As a computer animation student shortened opening times, especially over the weekends, have restricted my studies so longer opening times would be great!
