Student debt is how much money you owe to graduate school. People borrow loans through the government and private sources like lenders with the full expectation to pay them back once they have a career and can afford to. The problem with student debt is that it is tough to repay it in a reasonable time.

Our solution is to create a petition and send it to our State Senators Nicole Poore and Darius J. Brown to try to convince them to act on policies to reduce student debt. This includes extending student loan payment plans, lowering the interest rate, and finding a way to guarantee sustainable jobs for college graduates.
