Poudre School District (PSD) has received a recommendation to eliminate SROs in schools despite community, student, and teacher support of the SRO program.
Students, please sign this letter to tell the PSD school board that you support keeping SROs in our schools to maintain the safety of our children and community.

The latest volume of signatures confirms that the board needs to address our position during their upcoming policy review. I am currently drafting a formal letter to the district administration to schedule a presentation of these findings.

It’s important from a safety perspective as well as important for students to have the positive interaction with the officers.
We need to keep the SRO's because they are very important for our safety at schools, and people would feel unsafe if they were gone.
My girls love learning about police officers and consider their SRO a friend. He also makes them feel safe.
I love the SRO”s, they are fantastic people that do great things. We need these officers to protect our schools.
we need to keep SROS in schools for the safety for me and all my friends and classmates!
SROs make me comfortable at school I think that this should stay.
Keep the SRO’s, I can’t think of why anyone would want us kids to be unsafe in our schools.

This is really the most stupid thing I can think of doing. I don’t want to go to a school where another colombine incident is waiting to happen. That is what you are asking for if you remove the SRO’s. It’s like the people who want to remove them WANT more school shootings.
