There have been major cuts to the funds allotted to multiple Cultural Orgizations this semster. UBA and LU were only approved for about 10% of the money they asked for. Many events have either been denied by Student Government, or have been denied funding.

 We would like to know why.

UBA has been denied funding for their annual: Winter Ball, Senior Send-off, and Faculty/Staff Appreciation Dinner and LU has been denied fudning for their Aramark Appreciation Dinner.

 Please join us in asking why we have been funded for these events in the past and why our cultural groups no longer deserve to have Student Government fund our cultural programs.

Why have you chosen to cut these annual events this year?

This petition is not about purely getting the funding for these events, but to ask Student Government about where the money from our activity fees is going.
