Nick Clegg himself said in April 2010 fees of £7000 would be ‘a disaster’. · The universities teaching grant being cut by 80% and Students on many courses being entirely responsible for funding their own degrees-effectively privatising our higher education system · Students in England will face amongst the highest fees of any public university system in the industrialised world alongside some of the lowest levels of public funding for university teaching · In a ‘market' for higher education, some students will feel forced to choose the cheapest course, not one that suits them best. · Most graduates still paying off their debts 30 years after graduation.
