Currently, there are is no centerline that leads across the bridge. With no centerline for guidance, drivers often drive down the middle of the bridge. When drivers do this, it makes it impossible for other cars to simultaneously drive across the bridge. This not only slows down traffic, but puts both drivers in a dangerous situation.
This petition is advocating for the addition of a centerline pavement marking on the Browndale Bridge, between the intersection of Browndale Avenue and W. 50th St. and the address of 4909 Browndale Avenue.
Important note: The persons who have signed this petition understand that the City Council may asses the costs of these improvements against the properties benefitting from the improvements in amounts determined by the Council as authorized by chapter 429, Minnesota statutes.
The persons who have signed this petition ask the City Council to consider the improvements listed above to the Browndale Bridge, between the Browndale Avenue and W. 50th St. intersection and 4909 Browndale Avenue.
