I am an American of Irish descent. Do not let my mother land and our lovely ancient culture be destroyed by unchecked immigration. Do not let the Irish people be put last. Put the Irish first. Take care of your own problems before taking the rest of the worlds on. You can still be compassionate and help other people, but you do not have to keep taking them in when your own people are suffering.

It's time we regained control of our borders. Fraudulent asylum seekers, bogus language students and those entering into sham marriages with EU nationals for visa and residency purposes should be clamped down upon.

Every illegal immigrant is a burden on the taxpayer & foreign workers deprive native Irish of jobs, forcing natives to emigrate while foreigners pour in. The economy is in a shambles in no small part due to immigration.
