So the Jags for Justice Group at John Paul II CSS in London, ON, thought of this idea. we have looked at Cheapside and McNay where Shane Cullion and Anthony Zettler were involved in an accident. We have concluded that street lights are an issue and there are not enough to offer the best safety for Londoners. With this petition we are hoping to get something started to improve the safety around that area. Our school nurse, Jane Berardini is currently involved with Sir John A. MacDonald to ask parents if safety for their children is one of their concerns in that area. We have already met with Greg Fowler (posted his interest in helping out our school on Rest In Sweet Peace Shane Cullion, facebook page), he informed us how difficult it would be to convince City Hall to improve the safety. Because installing new traffic lights and possibly another sidewalk could raise the property tax for the residents in that area, we must build a strong case that cannot be turned down. We hope that all of you agree with our decision, and we hope to have your full support. Thanks Everyone, if there are any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me, Marie Darconza, on facebook.
