On January 14, 2015, we lost a wonderful father, husband, papa, and friend. He was one of the any pedestrians struck and killed in Stemmons Corridor due to the lack of lighting and pedestrian crosswalk areas. We hope and pray that this petition raises awareness to this safety concern and protects other innocent victims. Forever with is and in our hearts!! We love you Dad!

A family friend of ours was hit by a car and killed outside the Market Center recently. Higher safety standards are needed.

Approximately 375,000 people visit the Dallas Market Center campus each year. The walking area surrounding the DMC needs street lights for safety. The full economic impact of DMC activities on the Dallas area is $1.2 Billion. Do something to keep your visitors safe!

The Dallas Market Center Area is dangerous due to no street lighting. Besides pedestrian deaths, street lighting would help prevent muggings in the area. It's a little daunting walking under the dark bridge to get back and forth from the hotels to the market.
