Please stop the rush to please big corporatism and allow a reasonable open discussion that clearly communicates the costs and burdens the citizens and small businesses of Stoughton will experience if this goes forward.

There are already too many Super Walmarts! Let the local businesses get the business! Recently saw a bumper sticker that reads: "America has the best Wealthcare $ystem"

I don't care if a Super Walmart comes to town or not. I will continue shopping to fit my needs, just as I do now. What I don't like is the way the city handled this, nor do I feel a TIF needs to be offered for this development!

Downtown businesses are closing, and struggling. Far better to invest money in downtown development. KPW will be the death of downtown Stoughton.

We do not need another Walmart, We need another grocery store. Walmarts are dirty and bring nothing into a community like Stoughton

We state our STRONG objection to the Kettle West project all together especially as it has been proposed. We do not believe it is in the best interest for the community to allow this proposal to the determent of the beautiful historic downtown.

Tif money could be better spent by creating a river walk with green space that could be a focal point for downtown redevelopment. By creating a downtown where people actually want to live commerce will follow.

As a former member of the Stoughton City Council, I am strongly in favor of this petition calling for a moratorium on the KPW Super Center project. We should continue to redevelop our Downtown.
