I myself have bad back pain from an injury in 1996. Without my pain medication I would not make it through my everyday life. I take them to function without being in so much servere pain that I can not see straight

Kerri phillips

I went to the ER with a shattered ankle (broke the tibia in two places and the fibula with a Spiral fracture) and was given Tylenol with codeine for the pain. When I told them no I wanted hydrocodone as I had a terrible fall and would be in terrible pain that night, I was treated like I was a drug addict and told the FDA was too strict on the medicine for this. I had to go to another doctor to get the medicine. When you are so harsh on prescribing a pain killer like this all that happens is that you make the black market price go up, increase demand and people fulfill their needs on the black market. Take a look at what happened to the Russian economy under a socialist society and you can see this in action.

Joseph Rietdorf

Why should regulations caused by criminals be able to ruin it for law-abiding citizens in pain?? We need to get these democrats OUT of the White House! They pander to the illegals and minority drug abusers and make our lives miserable!!

Jose Hernandez

Fully agree watching my mother in pain $200 every doctor visit to get prescription on top of the amount of the prescription

This is ridiculous, I've never seen anything like it. I been suffering from back pain all my life (scoliosis) Not to mention a torn rotor cuff. The Government needs to stay out of this. They're are people who actually need them . For all the addicts that want to get high. All you're doing is ruining your life. Why should this be changed because of the non responsible addicts ? I was getting refills 6 month supply now i have to get them on a month to month basis. THE responsible people like me and others are paying the price because of the idiots in Washington D.C... Why didn't we the people get a chance to vote for this. I'm 100% against this. I need them for pain which I'm in pain all the time . It hurts to walk or stand. This is not right. This must be stopped. The tyrants in D.C need to all be voted out. I'm sick of this.

I have a herniated disc and S.I. problems for over 9 years now. I have undergone over 70 physical therapy visits, numerous pool therapy visits, not to mention numerous chiropractic visits, back injection treatment, and being a guinea-pig to many different medications. I was told by my back Doctor's that surgery wasn’t a good option for me.; so after finally finding a medication that worked for me called Hydrocodone, This medication actually helped the pain and helped me to maintain my days, I have since been cut off the Hydrocodone medication by my current Doctor and I was not even tapered off of this narcotic medication. Keep in mind; I did not go to her because i was not happy with the meds or any other reason. She said that this had to be done because of the D.E.A. Scheduling changes. My Dr changed my medication to Oxycodone, and this med was not working for me until she upped the dosage, since then she lowered the dosage and I am very miserable. I raised waves with the Drs Staff because she did not prescribe what we discussed and a dosage that actually did help. And the staff would not let me discuss this matter with the Doctor. I am forced to taper myself off of this medication because with my insurance i cannot find a dr that with take a new patient with chronic pain issues, I have NEVER FAILED A DRUG TEST,Never Lost nor had any medications stolen, never been to the E.R. for medsseeking, and never gone Dr seeking for meds anywhere else... I am SO MISERABLE. THIS IN NOT WHAT I CALL A QUALITY OF LIFE.. I AM SIGNING THIS TO STOP BEING A VICTIM OF OUR OWN GOVERNMENT AND D.E.A. These Departments feel that they can have the power to control our Doctor's Decisions and the lack of the patient’s rights and quality of life decisions. Because our government and D.E.A. cannot figure out a logical solution to the abusers that seek some of the selected and abused medications the patient must suffer these consequences. PLEASE LIVE ONE DAY IN MY SHOES,. you have no clue how m
