Stop the SLA at Michaelston le pit (cwrt ala basin)

i actually own a few acres of agricultral land in cwrt yr ala basin . The council have said we cannot do anyhting on it because its SLA its all bollocks realy how are people meant tp make a living

You should let the small holders keep their land! They are doing good work with the vulnerable in the community and bought their land in good faith. They should be allowed to continue with this

The land should not be changed. It is a beautiful area and it is enjoyed by many people as it is. The land is worked by hand, and it would be a shame to loose these traditional farming methods. There is enough change in this world. We should be doing all we can to preserve these methods, not destroy them

The SLA should not be extended onto this land. The land is currently being used to host small holdings that benefit the community. To loose these traditional farming methods would be a great loss.

The land is used by smallholders successfully to the benefit of the community. It would be to the detriment of the community if these small holdings were removed.

I would like the use of the land to remain as it is, with small busineses using it in a caring way. It's good to see the land I used to play in as a child being used in the way it is. So please do not extend the SLA to include this area, the busineses there need some accomodation for the stock and feed etc and without it they would not be able to function properly

I say keep the land as it is, everone enjoys working the land as it is and they dont want to lose what they have.I have recently been doing work experience there and have been enjoying it and its good to work there because it is quiet and not packed and its relaxing.It is good for people walking passed to see the workers enjoying themselves with the animals.Please dont take the land awawy from them.

The new SLA at Michaelston le Pit will badly impact the smallholders and others who, through them, are able to access the experience of working the land and caring for livestock in a traditional, non-intensive and non-invasive manner.

Please reconsider this extension of the SLA, which will have a detrimental effect for many people.

I have heard first hand accounts of the excellent work done at this area of land, not just in terms of agriculture and business but also in terms of humanity and community. I protest the extension of the SLA on these grounds also.

Please don't extend the SLA - the people on the land already do amazing things for the vulnerable and less abled in the community and the SLA extension will force all that good work to come to an end.

let the smallholders keep their land! They are doing good work and bought their land in good faith - don't go changing the rules on them and don't pull it out from under their feet

i think you should let them keep there land people have land to help poeple and fout good things and let them keep what ever they have got and i think it is a good idea to have anmials on the land because people walk up and see the anmials and like what they see so you should keep it ..

please do not extend the SLA this will put us out of business

I wish to see the SLA at cwrt-yr-ala basin removed. This will effect my small agricultural business and effectively put me out of business. I own and run a small cattle business which i require a building as well as a road for my cattle and storage of feed, medicines etc, by making my land in which i own as a SLA will have a dramatic effect on my business and as previously stated will most likely end up with my business being closed down. As a young agricultural farmer who is attempting to run a business that is economically, environmentally and most importantly sustainable i find the NEW UDP plan to be unsustainable and damaging to myself and the community who run small agricultural businesses.

The vale needs to stop the extension of the SLA because it will put me out of business and make my livestock homeless!
