`We believe that the continued use of Settle Town Centre by heavy goods vehicles is damaging and detrimental to the town, the people who live here and people who visit.
We therefore petition North Yorkshire County Council to impose a 7.5 tonne weight limit on traffic through Settle town centre.
The feedback regarding heavy goods vehicles in Settle has been consistent throughout this process. I am currently reaching out to local representatives to ensure your collective concerns remain a priority on the council agenda.

The momentum behind this initiative continues to grow at a pace that commands attention from local officials. This level of support ensures that our formal request for a weight limit will be viewed with the seriousness it deserves.
