I am nervous to let my 9 year old play outside. This is concerning to me, especially after hearing of the bitten dog dying.

Something needs to be done. I take of my home. However the city needs to take ownership of the city and the other home owners also.

I have a dog and I wouldn't want him to get bitten by or find rat carcus in our yard. And get sick and possibly die. So therefore we need to find a solution to this eat problem.

I went out to my garbage can yesterday morning and found the lid chewed and my husband keeps finding rat droppings in our garage, and my dog brought me a dead rat one day, I keep my yard cleaned up everyday cause I do have dogs, but this is starting to really scare me, people need to keep their yards cleaned up from dog poop, rats love it and no wood piles, that is another attraction to them, please neighbors you need to do your part to and get rid of garbage and stuff you have sitting in your yard.

I thought Dearborn had a "rat expert" that was going to help the city.

My dog has killed a few rats. Luckily he's vaccinated for the lepto virus. I make sure to turn the light on on the porch before they go out.

I live on Ecorse Creek, and I can see them going in/out living behind the cement 'retaining wall' that was placed across the creek of my property. Just wait till it rains and they all scatter, I don't even fill bird feeders anymore because it would be all rats on the ground below. Very sad... I live in a clean well maintained home I shouldn't have this.

We aren't living in a third world country and we DO pay our taxes. This shouldn't even be an issue. Do the job and manage the money as you should and eliminate this disgusting nuisance.
