Dear Football League, In light of the very sad news of the demise of Halifax Town, I have an exceptional plan to save 8 X-League clubs from going the same way. After all it was your fault changing the rules to allow two clubs to be relegated out of the football league, which has accelerated the loss of many proud X-Football League Clubs. Football League 2 is starting to look like the conference and the conference is fast filling up with these once great clubs. If these clubs don't manage to escape the non-league in their first attempt, then they may be doomed, as the non-league wage cap kicks in and prevents these X-Football league clubs from attracting the players that might get them out of the conference, and possible save them altogether.The longer these clubs stay in the wilderness the more chance they will just fold up and die. I have a very simple solution ..... You invite 8 conferenece clubs back into a restructured Football League of 80 Clubs, in the form of 4 Divisions of 20 Clubs. Think about it, its an all round perfect solution, and not just for the fact it will help save 8 dying clubs. It also helps reform the present large sizes of the 3 existing football leagues from 24 clubs to 20 clubs, freeing up more time and space for cup competition. Dear Football League please do not disregard this petition and give it some careful thought. Thank-you.
