The doors are closing and the killing has finally stopped. I am drained beyond words yet relieved that no more animals will suffer on that floor. We will keep watching to make sure the transition stays permanent.

Final supporters
The Lehigh County Humane Society has been KILLING companion pets for decades. Their KILL rate is 90+ %. People who try to adopt are told the pets were no longer available. Which means they were KILLED knowing homes were waiting for them. These pets are killed by hearstick without any measure of sedation and are left to die on the shelters killing floor for sometimes hours until they die an agonizing , horrid death. County funding has been denied to this shelter, yet they remain free to kill. We need to STOP THE KILLING IN LEHIGH COUNTY.The Fritch's own this shelter. Bruce Fritch has told everyone who will listen that " NO ONE WILL TAKE AWAY MY RIGHT TO KILL ANIMALS. The board of directors are no help. They are just names on paper. PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITION AND HELP THESE POOR ANIMALS LIVE.
Please sign this petition to present to the District Attorney in an effort to either REMOVE the FRITCH"S or close this shelter down.

Seeing this grow is heavy because it confirms that so many of you see the same cruelty I do. I am exhausted by the fight but knowing I am not alone in this makes it impossible to walk away.

LEHIGH COUNTY DO SOMETHING
Bruce Fritch needs to be held accountable for this. People donate thinking they are helping but they are just funding a slaughterhouse.
How is this legal?? Heartstick without sedation is torture. Absolutely vile.
This is completely heartless. Those poor animals deserve a chance at a real life not this nightmare. Shut them down now.
I tried to adopt from there years ago and got such a weird vibe. Now I know why. Disgusting people run that place.

My family and I are horrified by these claims. No pet should ever have to suffer like that. Bring justice to these animals.
