We the undersigned residents of Suffolk County, New York want our elected legislators to put fourth a bill banning the retail sale of companion animals in Suffolk County, New York. We find after learning the facts that the majority of these puppies sold in retail stores in Suffolk County, New York are shipped from puppy mills across the country where parent dogs suffer cruelty and abuse daily. We find this appalling and unconscionable.
