As a retired architect I certainly agree we can do much better with this design--it's really bad.

Its never to late to reach out for public input - who knows it might help get a project right from the beginning.

We need inspired architecture to link, and act, as the gateway between south Aspen to North Aspen.

Please open the design of this building to the pubic now before it is too late and we wall off the park.

Red ant as usual you bring to our attention the short sighted city planners. We need to stop the train wreck.

The design of new City Hall should be something that we will be proud of. The current plan certainly does not meet this standard. I truly hope that more discussions and review will take place before the "wall" is built.

Where is the public process on the design of this building?? What’s being circulated is ugly and will only serve as a big wall between town and the riverfront district that includes the park, the river, the SCI zone, Clark’s and the Post Office, and the Old Power House. This district faces great change in coming years and should be incorporated into our existing core. The ugly plans for city hall that are circulating will do the exact opposite. Let’s push the pause button and get the design right so that this ~$50 million project is something that we can be proud of for generations.
