LEEDS WHAT?! LEEDS MET! Keep the name spend the money on something like our facilities or something important!!! We didn't sign up to go to "Leeds Beckett University". LEEDS MET!

I believe the money could be spent on other things that are more important such as grants, scholarships, lecturers printing out the lecture slides.

Its rediculous that the money we spend for a good education is being wasted on a name change that sounds terrible and lessens the reputation of Leeds metropolitan university. Absolutely distraught.

Absolutely disgusted! Another PR exercise needlessly executed! Management on their salaries in their Ivory towers don't care about the experience of the students. As long as they get what they want. Way to go Leeds Met..you spend my £2k a year fees (postgraduate) on a name change. I don't mind... (sigh)

I am so disappointed that I will potentially be graduating from "Leeds Beckett University". I am 100% against the name change and I think it's disgusting that so much money is being wasted on this when there are several more important things it could be spent on - some parts of the university that are in serious need of being improved, for example. I don't know of any students who are happy about the name change; why are our opinions not important when we are the people running up thousands of pounds of debt to attend?
