Stop Sign Installation for School Zone @ Stonegate/Aventerra

No, but I live at the corner of this intersection and believe it’s imperative to ensure safety for not only students and families, but also residents in general. As someone who’s already had a near miss (and I haven’t lived here a year yet!), I think this will help with improved safety.

My child attends Chapparal and has to walk this twice daily. She tells me how scary it is crossing the road because motorists do not yield to pedestrians making her fear she will be hit by a car each time she crosses the road. I have personally observed pedestrians attempting to cross the road where motorists will not stop. It is a major safety concern and I think a stop light or crossing red stop light would be necessary at minimum. A stoplight that functions on vehicle traffic would also ease the massive congestion during morning drop off and afternoon pick up times. I have also observed the aftermath of multiple bad accidents at this intersection. The county is late to address the needs of this intersection.

100% . The intersection at Adventerra and Keystone/Ashbury needs one too. The big green electric box blocks views. So many accidents on Adventerra.

This intersection is extremely dangerous. People drive way to fast. Stop signs are long overdue

My children are not school age but I live next to that intersection and see every day how dangerous it is

There should be a stop light there for kids crossing, always been worried that a kid will get hit crossing that street after or before school

This is a dangerous area with many blind spots and speeders. I’ve almost been hit with my dog to many times. It’s so dangerous for the kids going to school.

Cars go way too fast in this intersection, at the very least it should be a 4 way stop and honestly some speed bumps as well . The crosswalk signs should have a light too for added safety.

This intersection has multiple accidents, in the morning with the direction the sunlight hits it can be hard to see oncoming traffic, please consider putting up a light for the safety of the drivers and pedestrians going to and from these schools!

I have seen two near misses here. No one stops for the crosswalk. Please do a stop sign or flashing crosswalk sign, asap.

This is very dangerous. There is an underpass further down by pearl because of the danger and length to cross. Please make this a flasing stop sign sduring school hours

I live in the Windrift neighborhood just East of this intersection and I completely agree! Such a danger zone.
