Hi. This is a petition created by a non-gay, non-military, concerned citizen. I make this point not because I am against either of these things, but because I do not want false accusations that I am insulted by what Shirley says personally. I make this petition because I am disgusted with what this woman says. She is what is wrong with America. Even if you do not like gays or bisexuals, you can at least understand this if you are a parent. If your child went to fight for the freedom of his/her country, and was killed or seriously wounded because of it, would you want this lunatic woman and her cult-like followers at your child's funeral, screaming that your baby deserved to die because he was fighting for a nation which supports gays? If you are not a parent, like myself, but someone very close to you died in a war, would you want this? If you are a Christian, particularly a Baptist -that is what Shirley is- but do not support this woman's beliefs, do you want her giving your religion a bad name?

My goal is to get enough names on this petition to get the Supreme Court to declare her protests at military funerals a disturbance of the peace. I recognize that she has every right to her opinions, that is what America is about, but she truly is causing noise pollution and disturbing these poor families. Thank you, and I hope you sign.

PS I would also like to add that this is in no way considered legal action, and so I refuse to be subject to a lawsuit, which has been threatened by this 'church' to anyone who takes legal action.
