The object of our petition is open dialogue with the South African Goverment to review the permitting and terms of Shark Cage Diving activities in and around our local waters and beaches and particulary to examine the research covering the "conditioning" debate in relation to whether these activities put human lifes in increased danger, and whether the animals are being subjected to behavioural harm due to the industry's operational protocol.

The discussion with regards to the feeding, baiting, chumming and harassement of Great White Sharks and other marine apex predators must be opened and the well being of the public and the enviroment considered in light of the latest research from the scientific community and increasing incidence of shark attacks on humans.
