To whom it may concern: The city planning department is determined to sneak the parkway in the back door. Several councillors have referred to the proposed hospital access road as the parkway extension. The hospital road network is a mess and can be fixed easily for the $1.48 million that was originally allocated in the site plan design. There is no need at this time to spend an additional $6,920,000 to build a new road. We the undersigned respectfully ask the city of Peterborough to NOT build the new road between Clonsilla Avenue and Parkhill Road on the parkway right of way until the city can a) afford it and b) prove that it is necessary.
