I strongly object to this! My estate not on any route to nearest High School! Our children should not be penalised! We pay council tax and far too much money wasted on other services! 2 miles is more than ample! I think this is disgracefull

this is an essential service for many children, I'm disgusted that the council are discussing depriving them of this service

I have 3 children with two years between them so the use of the bus will be required for me.

I live in Newton we don't even have a public bus service that goes near any of our catchment high schools. How do you expect the kids to get to school?

I hope my daughter is not effected by this as she currently uses the school bus and as I have MS I'm not fit to drive to and from school each day

Public buses will not stop, if they see crowds of children waiting at the bus stop and buses are crowded enough at rush hour currently. This would also impact on the numbers of cars on the roads, as many parents will drive their children to school.

SLC at its best again! Cut the fat cats wages and make them walk up to 3 miles to and from work on unsafe and busy roads and let them to have no say or rights.
