Absolutely believe the time has come to look after the NZ inshore fishing zone. All you need is an earthquake to top the management balance. Throw out these stupid sustainable fishing statements we get from commercial trawl fishing practicing companies. It simply is not sustainable.

Recreational fishing is far less wasteful
than commercial and far more valuable
economically per fish than commercial.

Also suggest putting a limit on fish over a size to put back as breeding stock, as the Australian's do with Baramundi
